Actually, that one is close to being made of gold. It's an 'old school' smith, back when they knew how to make 'em. Beautiful deep blue, good wood and I bet fit and finish is flawless. Something like that though I would be hesitant to shoot much and I would have opted for the .41 also. Yes she is b...

I honestly don't know, I really don't pay much attention to N frames. I do know that it was stainless and that it was made before the mess that S&W has become.

Any of them sound like a good score. Were you able to decide quickly or did you have to think about which one you wanted th most? 3leg I am not big enough to carry an N frame around if the ruger had been in better cosmetic shape it would have been a close race, but I have a really soft spot for 19'...

Walked into my favorite gunshop today and the manager starts reaching into the case and pulls out three revolvers. the first was a mechanicly sound three screw blackhawk in .357 mag that was well used, the second was a N frame .41 mag, and the third was a s&w 19-4 6 inch pinned& recessed bbl...

Found out today that the Army reserve promoted me toSsgt. effective August 1! Only spent 2 years as a Sgt so I am kinda proud of myself. :mrgreen:

Best sight in range

As I watch the groundhog in my neighbors yard, i started to wonder what the most useful range that my 22 magnum should be sighted in for. I usually don't shoot at anything more than 50 yards away, but the hog I am watching is a good 100 yards distant. Just curious what others here do.
