They work just fine. My experience is like some of the other posters in that
the 200 gr rounds are much more accurate in my rifle.

Save your brass and reload 'em with 200 core-lokts.

I've used Marvel Mystery oil to good effect with taps. I like something a little bit heavier for
drilling, but for hand tapping the thin oil is fine, and I think flushes the chips better. Choose

There's nothing wrong with the 357 Magnum round. It's plenty powerful, and in the right hands, pretty much kills what it's aimed at. Lotsa interesting replies here tonight....... If I had to pick two currently in the safe, I might have to go with my S&W Model 66 (4", 357 Mag), and my Marlin 336 in 35 Remington. I could load 38 Special for target work and plinking, and the 35 ought to be enough for anything else in Maine....
