I called Barnes this morning and they said reduce load 15% and ck. pressure because the 250gr bullet{Casull} is longer and will spike pressures in a pistol case when seated to 1.60 in length, and with the reduced load I might get a yaw in the bullet from the reduced loads will ck at 50 yds and 100 w...

NO lc45 loads
Was looking for some lc45 loads in my Barnes reloading book NO GOT only have loads for a .451/250gr hp bullet for a 454 casull so I went and looked at the 44mag loads and under the 250 gr bullets loads they had a note in big black letters saying {NOT FOR 1/32 TWIST BARRELS} guess what my Marlin lc45...

Rifle twist ?
I have done it 3 times and keep comming up with 18.5" for 1/2 revolutions on the old cleaning rod pulling from the breach to the muzzle..... What would my rate of twist be? This is in a new Marlin LC45 ? It just doesnt seem right that would be 37/1

What brand of brass do you think is the better, thicker, all around for number of reloadings before splitting, primer pockets getting too sloppy, straight wall and bottle neck cases? Hornady, Winchester, Remington or any others I might have missed.

I have just found a Marlin 1894 in LC45 and wanted to know if my Ruger BH hunting load of 20gr of 2400 with a 250gr jhp be to hot for my new lever gun if so I will burn them up ASAP so not to mix them up?
