I just picked up a Ted Williams Model 100(94 clone) and it came with a Weaver 3a,side mount and Weaver side rail. I took it off,it now has a Williams 5d receiver sight. My question,it has four hole left in the side of the receiver and I want to plug them, what size plugs?????? Thanks, Doug

I have had a mess of centerfires,from 22 Hornet to 45-70.My all time favorite was and is the 6,5x55 Swedish Mauser.I have killed all of the normal big game in the lower 48 with it. I use two bullets 125 grain Nosler Ballistic tip and the 160 grain Hornady round nose.It just works for me. Doug

I have got NEF" in a bunch of calibers.I find them a very good buy, the 30-30 is a fine choice as is the 44mag.The older 44 mag's from NEF were over sized(bored) and gave the guys with them fits.The newer one seems to be fine. Get the 30-30 then send it in for a 44 mag barrel. Doug

As for the 327 in a levergun, I contacted my gunsmith and he indicated a Marlin 1894 in 32 H&R would be an easy rechamber.Now I just have to find to find one, that is not made of GOLD :shock: . The Ruger SP101 is working out fine. I was looking for a perfromance level ,ie; 115gr @ 1300fps.So it ...

No it is not the original barrel, it started life as a SMLE 303 Brit, and was stubbed on the donor barrel. I have not had the chance to chrono the load yet but it shoots the 113gr fngc very well on top of LilGun. Doug

I have very large hands and hunt in the mountain west, so gloves are mandatory, so I do like large loop levers,have them on a Win 94, Rossi 92 and soon to be on a Marlin 1895G.They do not look as good as the regular, but I use them on "tools" and they work for me. just my2c Doug
