Jason: My wife and I took a long time to find our house. Where we are at now, everything is working out for us. Keep praying and GOD will lead you. We had to move to another state, but that is apparently what we were supposed to do. Since moving here 10 years ago, our kids are doing great in school,...

My parents are getting older, and my Mom can't handle a .357 Mag. I think I will buy them a Ruger in the new .32 Hornady. They live in a medium to high crime city and I can't get them to move. They need more protection, and my Dad has my Wife's GP100 (she loaned it to him) under his side of the bed....

I have an odd question for all of the above. Why are we still in Bosnia, and what were our interests there? No American as far as I know was in any danger from the civil unrest there and we are wasting money and resources there. To top this off, does anyone remember the New York Times reporting that...

In the hunting area, JD recently stated that a 50 BMG round would cause problems if necked down. It is already done in the .416 Barrett. It may have been him who told someone that the instant heat handwarmers used a liquid fuel and had to be lit. The asker was talking about the ones with dry powder ...

I always wondered how Ted, Bill, and Hillary avoided lightning bolts when they went into a church.

Have you seen the stuff on Yahoo Answers?

I go to Yahoo Answers some, and I have noticed that the top answerers are mostly wrong, or seem to be able to B.S. their way through a lot. Has anyone else seen that?

I just cannot bring myself to support Mccain. Maybe it is from all the times he has turned on conservatives and bit the hands which feed him. I am still undecided about Romney and Giuliani. I wish J.C. Watts were running.

I wonder if the perp will have the sense to realize he was given a chance to clean up his act. If that didn't put the fear of GOD into him, nothing would.

Isn't getting a little bit lost part of the fun? I carry a GPS unit, too. It's just fun to kind of trail the game and move through the woods and not worry about where you are.

I use the throw away foam types and the electronic muffs together. My muffs are some from Gander mountain for about $30. They use AA batteries and work ok for me. I am a little paranoid about losing more hearing than I have already lost from keeping 1 plug out so that I could hear my Seargeant yelli...

Joe, If I were coming for the first part I'd be glad to help. I'll be coming for the second part, so if you need a ride home I can provide it. I live in Red Oak, just about 10 miles south of the I35E and I20 crossing.

I've had my Puma for a few months and I think I will get some linseed oil. We used that in shop class back in Junior High, and it sounds like a good idea. I'm not really interested in what my stock looks like. It functions great and that is what counts.

Maybe we can talk Hillary into making an effort at pretending to like gun owners for a try at garnering votes. If she melts down battery lead for me, I might consider voting for her. Note I said might, and I might be able to survive a total brain removal.
