Winchester 94 375 winchester help

Hey Y'all, I recently picked up a Winchester Big Bore in 375 Winchester and am needing a few parts. Serial number is BB0448XX and is top eject. I figured this would be the forum to get some great answers. The parts that are missing are a barrel band by the front sights, one front sight, one magazine...

federal bureau of prisons marked winchester 94?

Hello, I have come across a Winchester 94 marked F.B. of P. This marking seems to be for the federal bureau of prisons. This rifle has the crossed double cannon marked and has US property marked on it. Also has FBP marked under buttplate, Serial number dates to 1959. Honestly I believe it is a fake,...

Winchester trapper compact value?

Hello, I am thinking of selling my Winchester trapper compact in 357 with push button safety to fund a BLR. The rifle has only been shot six time by me and is in excellent condition. From a little research, this model was only made for one year and is collectable. What could I expect to get out of t...

All right thanks. They also had a Canadian Centennial with a octagonal barrel for 500$(without negotiations), should I pick it up?

First 32 win special

I was going to eat dinner, and just had to stop by the pawn shop. When I walked out, my wallet was 440 dollars shorter. This is my second win 94 after my ranger in 357. When the rifle is at full cock, the trigger wobbles around quite a bit, is this normal? Serial number is 5092XXX

Re: Musing over Home-Protection choices...

I vote for lever gun, easy to pick up and use(if it doesn't have a push button safety). Have the tube loaded, and just cycle the lever when danger become apparent.

Winchester 88 in 243 price check

Hello, Is 500$ out of line for a post 64 88 in 243(Also has nice ring and bases, with a Bushnell trophy xlt scope). It is in really good shape, but the stock has been cut down to a youth stock. How much would it cost to get a gunsmith to add to the length of pull of this rifle, or should I replace t...

Re: Not lever, but bolt...

Tikka t3, very lightweight, smoothest action, great quality. Also I would look for a savage or Remington 700(one of the older ones)

Re: T/C pistol calibers

Got a super 14 223, love it. Also got a 10 inch 41 magnum, love it. I would say get the 223 for cheap plinking, but also get some high end ear muffs.

Winchester 94ae trapper 357 sights

Hello,
I recently got a trapper and am thinking about replacing the sights. I got some tru-glow sights on my encore barrels, should I get these or something else? Any suggestions?
