My dad passed away

Keep in mind he was 76 years old, diabetic and has severe parkinsons. My mother took him to the VA (career soldier) because he was having trouble breathing (thing Covid), the VA sent him home with something to help him breath. He died in his sleep less than 5 hours later. My poor mother is a wreck.....

Re: getting my head around CFE pistol

I use it a lot in 357, 38 and 44 mag for moderate loads. The recoil feels almost exactly like unique but it burns much cleaner. Even a full house 357 load of it has less felt recoil than a standard pressure 9mm. I like it for plinking loads but would not use it for hunting.

Re: expansion test 44 special bulllets

I have never even thought of expansion with 44's and 45's. They start out as big as folks are trying to get the smaller calibers to expand to. I want accuracy, reliability, and penetration. It's best if it shoots all the way through. Thats true to a degree however if the projectiles is not expandin...

Lately I have been using CFE Pistol for most of my 357 needs. Its a very accurate powder in just about every loading I have tried and recoil pulse feels a lot like Unique but cleaner. Its a great powder for light to mid range loadings.

I am a huge fan of the 357 cartridge in both handguns and rifles for most jobs however i have been in enough situations to realize that i can appreciate the advantages of a semi auto rifle with 30 rds available. In a hostile situation, reloading sucks!!! That being said 223 isnt my go to rifle cartr...

This video was very interesting.  He duplicated the Buffalo Bore 180 grain 357 mag woods load.   I was shocked by the huge Standard Deviation on "factory ammo".  BBs load is .8 grains above Hodgens listed max for Lil Gun.

I recently purchased a new 1886 only to find the chamber is super tight. The lever will not easily close on either factory nor gauged reloads. They chamber perfectly fine in my newer Marlin GBL.

Has anyone else had this problem?
