You thought your shooting hobby was expensive. Photography can get worse. Maybe not as bad as it was since hardly anyone shoots film any more.

Good point Doc. If you have a chance to go to a Cabelas and shoulder/cycle some Sharps and Win 1885 rifles you might be surprised. I found the 1885 had it all over the earlier Sharps design. -Tutt I did just that and think the added weight in the Sharps would be to my benefit considering that it is...

Apparently 2013 was a good year for the company and we will be receiving larger than usual bonus checks. I'm considering 1. Henry Big Boy in .357 2. Henry Big Boy .357?

What type of bullet do these rifles handle best? I have seen other articles that say semi wad cutters may be a problem but I probably don't want to be putting round nose bullets in either. I shoot JSP out of my 1892 .44 mag but seem to have a hard time finding any in .357

Winchester/Miroku Sight question.

After a lot of research I finally decided on a new sighting option for my 1892 that I picked up last spring.

Has anyone in here by any chance used these on a newer 1892 and will it be necessary to change out the front sight?

Thanks in advance.

Last time I was out there a Federal 525 round value pack of .22 LR was $48.95. Still high but not nearly as bad as other places I have seen.
