Re: Updated and Improved Python
Typically when a manufacturer "improves" a firearm they build it more cheaply by reducing quality. They changed the heart of the Python by changing the action to that of the Trooper Mark V. An easier to build (read cheaper) action that completely removed the feel of an original Python. Col...

It’d be some work, but you could do it at your pace. But, I’d cut it in manageable rounds for firewood. You might know of some folks in your area that could use some free firewood for winter.

I always get a kick out of folks that complain it's too hot, cold, wet, dry and whatever is inbetween. With the exception of the military no one is forced to live in an area they don't like. When I learned to reload I learned a very valuable lesson. “Don’t shoot someone else’s reloads”.
Following that rule I’ve never had an issues. I’ve known others that didn’t follow it and had some problems.

Near as I can tell schools no longer require kids to read books. And I doubt any could write a book report. Most kids want rapid entertainment that requires no thought or contemplation.
Frankly it won’t be long before the written word is forgotten.

Yes, leverguns do work well for southpaws. But leave it to lawyers to mess up a good thing by mandating safeties suited to right handed shooters. Thankfully those can be either eliminated or ignored. Oh by the way left handed bolt guns, really any sort of firearm, have always been more expensive tha...

My wife has put all sorts of stuff in the yard and flower beds. But until recently she avoided gnomes. Said she didn’t like them. But she found a “cute” one. Now they seem to be magically appearing everywhere. Next March I intend to salt the earth with leprechauns and let them go at it. Winner takes...

I was taught to clean from the chamber forward if possible. So that’s what I do. One piece rod if I can access the breach. A pull through if not. I used homemade devices until bore snake came along. That’s what I use now. The exception would be for serious fouling where the bore snake doesn’t cut it...
