Re: Opinions on .410 firearm options?
I’m partial to the Mossberg 500. My first shotgun was a 410 Mossy. Still have it and use it. It’s now 61 years old and other than keeping it clean and replacing the magazine spring (my fault it didn’t wear out) nothing else has been needed.

I live in an unincorporated area of L A. But across the street is L A City. The service level and response times are night and day. As a simple example my next door neighbor had her catalytic converter stolen. A sheriff’s deputy came out, took the report & photos. He also had me email them my vi...

I’ve been using something similar for well over a decade. I think it was designed for sub guns but the velcro fit with my take downs. I ended up with a couple as this one became the home for The Perfect Jeep Gun.

That’s LASD, Los Angeles Sheriff Department. Although when the Sheriff and LAPD used to open their ranges to the public I shot at both. Yes, likely to loose the legal battle. But the fight will cost firearms groups. Whereas the politicians have no worry about financial wherewithal.
I wonder if the politicians can be held legally responsible for violating their oath of office.

Let’s understand the history of the M16. It wasn’t designed as a replacement for the M14. It was designed to replace the M1/2 carbines. That’s why the USAF originally looked at it. The USAF received some small arms from the USA when they became an independent service. Mostly M1/2s and handguns. A fe...

Highly complicated. It’s new. Solution is to shoot, clean, repeat.
Now that you have re-engineered it don’t complain if either spring fails later.
Two of the biggest mistakes shooter make is to alter a firearm before it’s broken in and failure to keep it clean.
