Re: OT - snagged a wingmaster... pic
Well, I love Remington Wingmaster pump guns. And while BS'ing with my buddy at his gun shop, I see one on the rack... 12guage, 2 3/4", modified choke in good to vg condition, all original including the buttpad - $320. The lowest I can find on gunbroker is $420 - with bids, so I feel pretty goo...

Re: Gun prices - signs of the times
I own a gun shop as some of you know, Guns (even ebr's) are not moving. I got several calls this week from wholesalers with AR's being cheaper than I have ever seen them and they are not moving for them either, Ammo on the other hand is a different story...

You could do like the gun goobers do, They seem to be able to mount an AR-15 telestock to everything now... Think of the endless possibilities! A 6 position stock, front tac-rail, you could mount flashlites, lasers, bipods, single point slings... and all of the other goober stuff   :wink...

Things to look for... Chatter marks on the receiver rails, both top and the side you can see through the ejection port. This can be bad! Weak driving spring, Change it there cheap! These models are famous for collecting crud in the chamber area due to lack of proper maint. This often leads to stuck ...

What bullet do you guys use and why? Looking into the remington 158sp and 180hp along with 180xtp's and partitions... Keep in mind that we harvest a pile of 200lb+ bucks up here in Maine every year... I have been thinking using one of the Rem/Hornady 180's for practice/small deer and the Partitions ...
