Welcome back and Hemet would be a good choice. Hemet is just a "hop-skip-and-a-jump" from I-10 and then just a short distance to The CA/AZ border. Much better gun laws in AZ and sometimes, much better shooting opportunities.

No, not a failing at all.
The wife and I were both with the last two dogs (family members) we lost. We both cried. Not ashamed about it at all and it was certainly not a failing. Both of those dogs are buried right on our property as are other animals we have lost.
