I don`t think orienting the case in the chamber is meant to correct a bad chamber but to minimize and differences in bullet and case orientation that is made during the case prep/sizing,bullet casting and seating. I have 60 rounds of 32 WS that I am reloading as I shoot them. I'm also working in a few pieces of necked up 30-30 brass so I will have more than 60 rounds to shoot. I didn't think you could fire a .32 ACP in a .327 Federal Magnum chambered gun. No different from firing it in a revolver chambered for 32 H&R Magnum, 32 S&W Long, or 32 S&W. Each of those fires the smaller ones. My Blackhawk is chambered for 327, and it shoots everything down to and in...

My daughter says carrying a 327 single six is impractical... Our neighborhood is lousy with copperheads. This evening I went around back of the shop and found a fat copperhead coiled up on a small debris pile. I stood still while I removed one 327 Magnum cartridge, and thumbed in a 32 ACP cartridge....

...appears to be a Lyman No. 1 Combination Tang Sight. That's what is on my 1902 Marlin 94 32-20... I'll have to take it off again and see what's stamped underneath. I was amazed to find the tiny flip-down aperture when I bought the rifle. Had no idea it was there, and found it by accident. It work...

As that's a pre-war, you will notice that the tang is factory d&t for a tang sight, so.....get moving young man and pop an old Lyman on there! I noticed that... and since the rear sight wedge is new, I will wager a brand new penny that for most of it's life, it had an old Lyman, and no rear sig...

Well, she was a different lady today. She was there with two different young fellows, so we started from scratch. Got away with the rifle for $599 plus tax, total $640, which is $10 more than the fellow turned down yesterday!

I guess that helps to show/explain how a series of recent postings here mentioned that "multiple discharges" from percussion guns were more likely to occur with sloppy nipples That's a good point, well illustrated... Glad I use sections of silicon tubing to cover the percussion caps on me...
