I'll be 78 in August but still kicking and planning on buying more guns while I can still hunt. The reason I stopped doing the birthdays a while back was seeing so many members birthdays that no longer post, I started posting the birthdays again but it still saddens greatly me to realise how many o...

I purchased a Sarsilmaz semi-auto shotgun a number of years ago (2 decades +). Just couldn't pass up on the deal. Thing runs like a champ. Nothing special about it - just a good utilitarian tool. But those are often hard to find anymore!

Oh am I looking forward to this range report!
I've wanted one of these for a number of years. Certainly not a need, so I am waiting for the right deal. I too have seen many where the bore looks more like a sewer pipe than a gun barrel.

It needs to be applied and enforced! If you ever watch Jesse Watters, some of my favorite segments are the ones where he sends out Johnny to do the "man on the street" interviews. But they can be really depressing when you realize how few younger Americans can answer simple questions about...

Had a pair of spinal injections early this afternoon and I'm resting now in my recliner. I'm only 62 - it's not the years, its the mileage. Hard mi...

Another point to make. I didn't agree with Senator Graham on a lot of things (he was still light-years better than any Democrat), but he certainly loved this country and Senate traditions (back when Senators were actually statesmen). His net worth is/was about $3 million. At 71 years old, that just ...

Doc - He appointed Lindsey's sister. I think this was a very strategic move. She's temporary, and probably won't actually run for the seat. Two of our congressional representatives have expressed interest in Graham's seat. Problem is that the Republican's hold the house by a razor thin margin. Graha...

Lindsey was one of my senators. It appears that it was CVD, but it is awfully strange that it happened so suddenly after his trip to Ukraine... and Iran adding him to their "death list". I would be more worried about Russia. Their favorite way of dealing with individuals they don't like is...

BTW thank you for your kind gift. It came in the mail today. You are welcome! :D If you compare the amount of barrel around the forcing cone on an old Flat Top .357 and the same measurement on a K frame Smith, you won’t believe the difference! I am going to have to check that out. I have both.
