OT-question about person to person gun sales
I have three guns that I really need to sell. I'd rather sell locally if I can to avoid having to pay shipping/transfer fees. Can I sell that many guns at once without the feds getting their shorts in a knot? I've heard rumors (and granted their just rumors) of gun owners who make a lot of private s...

Not lazy, you're just hunting the way you have to in Southern New England. I'd love to hunt deer by finding a track and following it until I catch up with the deer (I get insanely bored sitting in one spot for hours) but if I try that most places around here, I'll just be pushing deer into more pati...

When I was a kid, my dad and I wanted to try caviar. Not knowing where to get real caviar, we used crappie roe. And, since we didn't know how to prepare it, we just battered it up with the rest of the fish and fried it. Of course the fish were great, but the "caviar" was pretty nasty. :D ...

Never had that problem hunting public land in Vermont.
Everyone's taxes and license fees pay for that land, so as far as I'm concerned, he who gets into the woods first has his pick of spots.

The 200 grain Hornady round nose loads were nice and accurate, as were the 200 grain CP from the .357. The CP didn't do so well accuracy wise from the .35 rem, though. I guess the extra .001" really can make a difference.

Some of the stands where I hunt, I may consider heavy buckshot. In a lot of northeast kingdom cedar swamps, if you have a clear view of a deer it won't be more than 15 yards and not for very long.

Light centerfire leverguns in production? And by light I mean low pressure smaller bore. Things along the lines of the 32-20 and 25-20. I'd love to have a Marlin in 25-20, but all the ones I see on gunbroker are pretty pricey.
