I thought they were all melted down during WW2 to make tanks.

The 1895 was too complicated for the average illiterate Russian.

I heard they complained of too much exposed metal in cold weather ( make that very very cold ) be be safe.

I like the MG 08/15 bipod. I sold mine a few years back ( the rifle not the machine gun ). The projectiles would easily punch through standard WW1 tank armour. looks like the rider was doing a good job of holding the horse still, those old box camera's are very slow.

my mate came back from from RSA with a Chapui .375 flanged SBS - he said it was much more fun than a bolt.

Anyone try one of the over/under versions ? Chapui and Browning custom shop make them.

I know the resale isn't as good as a SBS - but the 0/U seems like a posssiblility in 375
