I don't have a Marlin 94 to try it on. Looking to get a 92 or 94 in .357.

Rossi shorting .38sp.. Marlin?

I was shooting a Rossi 92 yesterday, it wouldn't feed semi-wadcutter .38 special rounds. Would it do the same if it was a .357 round? Would a Marlin 94 also shorted the round? What about a plain wadcutter?
