Re: Things i have fixed with JB Weld. . .
My dad had a 67 VW fastback that popped the heads three times in a relatively short time. The first two times he had it repaired professionally. The last time he took it to the high school auto mechanics shop ( he was the choir director) after school, pulled the the heads and JB welded them back on....

Even in VA there are legal considerations depending on WHERE you are. E.g. on national forest (state forest, parks, etc.) we may carry concealed with the CHP but cannot carry open carry anything else unless there is a hunting season (season being a key word) in effect AND you have a valid license a...

It sounds like folks with no more skills than I have are hanging a shingle and calling themselves professionals.
My motto has always been, "I'm not a real gunsmith, I just play one in my backyard." (on my own stuff).
The only one I dissappoint is me.

You can order another spring cover from Winchester/Browningn and I bet that'll fix it. I've played with quite a few and the poor ones are the exception rather than the rule.
Oh, and the latest ones work great in a '71 model.

And who'd thought such a little revolver would have such a long trigger pull? Even single action!

Everything is tight, bore and chambers are great. Beyond the cosmetic pitting on one side of the cylinder, everything has a nice, even patina.
Need to get some brass.
