The neck problem keeps me from shooting my heavy rifles anymore, comes from years of abuse and welding helmets.Refuse to let saw bones cut me, just dont do it if it hurts:) I have to work on most rifles I have one way or the other. I went and put a handle on my Henry 22mag, just couldnt live with the little gun with iron sights,much to much for my neck. I guess I might as well put a sling on it now

I had the pleasure of meeting Ted at a gun shop show a couple years ago, one serious dude, maybe a little loose but an ok guy. His TV show just makes me laugh a bit, he is an expert killer and you can see it in his eyes. You never know what he is going to say or do next.

I did 30 days in a recliner last year... with 3 months of casts, walkers, canes and pt after they let me back to work. Glad your back to work... for me it beat the alternative hands down Glad to hear you are working and you are right I have no reason to be complaining, just spoiled with the stress ...

I agree about the pelt dammage, that round will leave a hole on exit that a softball can pass through. I have a springfield, semi sporterized, good shooter, use 110 gr for chucks.
I have shot yotes with my 25.06 and the lighter bullet brings home the pelt without to much dammage.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. The Henry is just a start I can tell already, been lokin at 30 30 for bear or maybe 44 mag? Hi all just purchased my first lever gun Henry 22 mag, cant say why I waited so long, have many long rifles and shotguns but I think I am hooked on the lever already.
