Re: Leaky Alkaline Batteries
Kirkland from Costco was the worst about corroding that I ever tried. That matches my experience to a tee! Boss was using them for clocks at work and one day the clock would be running just fine the next not and when opened the Kirkland battery had leaked and corroded the contacts. And the number o...

The other advantage of 357 over 44 magnum is how much a box of 50 44 magnums tenderize the shooters shoulder! Between that and 44 mags cost I wish I have gone for a 357 instead of the 44 magnum.

Kirkland batteries from Costco are bad. Indeed they are the ones that come to mind. That having been said I have had another store brand go and leak badly less than 48 hours after my edc light swithched itself on in my pocket. Might have been 48 hours after switching on before I could replace the b...

For the past 10 years or so I have had pretty good luck with the ~10 dollar big box store 1 Led 3 AAA cell pocket size flashlights. Granted my needs aren't tactical but you would be amazed how dark the corners of seemingly well lit data centers get. But watch out on store brand batteries. At work, h...

I have shot some 8mm mauser Privi Partisan with no issues that I attribute to ammo.
