Re: Went Shooting Monday..
Did you shoot the home made bullets for accuracy? Nah,..didn't shoot for accuracy. These things shot so low that the first 2 shots missed the target. By the time I figured out where they were shooting I was just about out of rounds, since I just made 6. Maybe next time I'll make enough to shoot for...

Well,..I decided to get a Ruger LCP after handling the 2 different pistols. Thanks for all the input. For those who haven't held these pistols, they border on tiny. It's not much bigger than a deck of cards, and probably weighs less. It slips right into my front pocket and is hardly noticible. I sna...

I was browsing a Remington 8/81 site and find a bunch of pictures like this. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v644/engrtobe/cabin.jpg Why did they dig out the floor of the cabin and have a "step down" arrangement? Was it so they could use less wood and still have the same inside area. Wha...

So I saw this on another forum and thought I'd give it a try. Turns out a fired 40 S&W case is in the neighborhood of .429-.430. The original poster was taking fired cases, filling them with lead and making .44 projectiles out of them. I understand this is not a new practice, but it is new to me...

I quit watching Nascar a few years ago. The races are pointless. They always seem to come down to a 2 lab "shootout". There is no strategy any more. A good driver and crew chief might plan all day for how to end the race, and then there's a wreck with 5 laps to go and the yellow flag comes...
