That's how I found my No. 5 Mk I. Somebody polished all the collector value off it. I bought a plastic stock for a No. 4 and put it on. One thing I did notice is that my sizer is .430" and that's the size of the pistol's bore - usually, I want a wee bit larger than the bore, so I may need to get a slightly larger sizer or open the one that I have up a bit... to .431 at least... Remember what Elmer always said: to size bullets ...

I have a "sporterized" 98K Mauser. I bought it as an action with a (rusted up) barrel, but not put together. I got another 98K barrel, had it chambered to 8mm-'06, and stuffed it into a Ram-Line stock. Easy as pie. For pics, look at any Ram-Line ad for the stock--it's just like it!

Be careful with a Marlin with .44 Specs in it. I tried a handload with a 200-grain jacketed bullet in a Spec case; the OAL must have been too short, as the thing jammed up to where I had to disassemble it to un-jam.

That's an awful lot of work for something that's just going to get that dirty again as soon as you use it. I use Iosso and find it needs a whole lot of rinsing, but it's still way easier than changing media, several tumbling steps, etc. I only need my brass clean, not sterile.
