I like Nikon scopes. The BuckMasters series is a really good scope for the money. It used to be that if you wanted quality, you went with Leupold, but other makers have now caught up with Leupold. For the price, a Nikon or Burris is as good or better deal than Leupold.

I think the concept here is just to get some of us together and have a fun time hunting. I don't know if the intent is to only use lever guns. OSOK was the originator so he can shed some light. I expect to hunt with my .35 remington, but I'd sure like to see some other rifles!

Yes, you can take more than one deer a day. So, you could let your son take a doe, then you take a buck (of course, just keep that to yourself since the doe tag isn't transferable). I'm pretty sure the antler restrictions are in place in that county, so it has to be either a spike or greater than 13...
