Re: OT - small frog in a tiny puddle
Funny what happens to some peoples shooting when the clock starts. I like to watch practical shooting matches, but I do not find them very practical. The shooter/competitor often shoots on the run and out in the open, not from cover. In real life that is the best way to miss the target and/or take a...

You might ask Jeff Quinn if he has done any testing on the NAA. http://www.gunblast.com/Archive.htm/ . I looked but could not find the article I was looking for in his files. I seem to remember an article on 3 on the pocket pistols in .380 which compared three brands and I think the NAA was one of t...

Re: HUMOR/POLITICS
Best solution I've heard of yet.
Maybe not allowing the illegals to have Dollars and paying in pesos will stop the out flow of dollars and start the out flow of illegals. Maybe the people could print pesos like the people here print dollars then maybe that would aid the lack of pesos in the USA.

I guess I'm not in a funny mood. That was a dumb thing to do and I agree with her assessment of the guy.
Even if it was staged it can give the wrong idea to startle someone with a loaded gun. Safety present and future was ignored.

Well said Jim on the issue of guns and school shooters. Some how these people need to be stopped before they get on the campus. How can the good guys get the authorities to act to stop these shootings. I liked the sermonette on Jesus's treatment of people, it is to bad that people are not forgiving....

From what you have stated a 13 to 15 inch Beagle would fit the bill. Short hair low shedding factor. low on dog oder. This guy really let the bear get to close, 15 feet is about two body lengths of a big bear and they are very very fast. He should have had that bow at full draw long before the bear was that close. The same goes with a handgun. If a dangerous animal is getting close get ready for a possible attack. ...

That sound like suppression of information from a public doucment. Do they allow the sale of newspapers, magazines, etc. that carry articles on or about weapons? I'm sure they do. Read something a while back that suggested that any boar should be shot behind the ear. Reason being that the build up of mud and hair will be like armor plate on the sides, reducing the amount of penetration, or cause a bullet to bounce off. A 22RF will easily kill a boar if placed in the ear head ...
