Keep in mind when you are looking at where your hand is in the receiver, if the gun is empty, such as at home, the balance will change forward a little when loaded.

I've had receiver sights on virtually all my levers and never noticed the receiver sight when carrying.

Don't know what you were wanting to shoot them in, BUT, the original Keith Lyman bullet is too long to feed in my Browning 92 in magnum cases. It feeds fine when loaded in 44 spl cases. Best try feeding a few loads before loading a lot if they're for a lever gun.

You may want to check around to see if other gunsmiths might do the job quickly. Last barrel I had swapped, the guy charged me $15 if I had the gun already stripped down, and it took a couple days. It would have taken longer to hook up with my friend that had the tools.
