OT Update on layoffs and new job
Well guys, back in December I posted about some pharmaceutical industry layoffs. If you recall, my wife, stepdaughter, son-in-law, and myself are all in the pharmaceutical industry (different companies). My wife, stepdaughter, and I all got laid off during the last week of November. Here's the updat...

First, let me remind the crowd NOT to shoot my wife's windchimes (when she's home). She doesn't like it. This first picture is the "before" of my backyard (also known as my shooting range). I took this photo from my deck, which runs along three sides of the 2nd floor of my house. http://i1...

Where to buy unbuggered screws for a mountie
I'm tired of shredding my cleaning cloth every time I wipe down my 39A. Where can I buy replacement screws? The serial is M 107XX I think, '50's vintage.
Thanks,
Quinn
ps somebody better buy Victor's Winchester 71. Can't find one better on the auction boards.

Didn't realize they had jumped that much so quickly. Guess I shoulda hung onto it a little longer. :D Me too. I think I got $750 for my NI...

OT 53 turkeys in the yard right now
It's actually kinda creepy seeing this big flock flow through the yard, heads down, pecking at this and that. All hunched over, jerky steps, going in the same general direction. I'll probably see them sweep by again later this afternoon.

What should I expect to pay for a Browning model 92 357?
I've got it bad for a browning Model 92 in 357. I have a Rossi that I really like but something about the original makes me want one in the worst way. So the question is, what should I expect to pay? If I find one (big if, they seem darned hard to find) what is a reasonable price? I'm not looking fo...

My brother is a levergunner!
My brother called me today to tell me he bought a Marlin 1894C. I talked to him Monday to tell him that Big 5 was going to have them on sale for $399. He located one and bought it! The session at the range with my 1894C and EMF model 92 .357 paid off
