Well the shop is amazing and a very big item on my bucket list! Byron and I crunched 45/70 before and we had the 40 die to step with BUT our best luck was to take them in one step (wrecked less cases) 45 down to 38 in one go. we had new brass I think that would be a must. We never tried fired brass.

Yes its a good gun, My wife has it in the console of her Pickup as her carry gun. it cycles target ammo as well as the fast stuff . It fits her hand great and is easy to operate. Easy slide spring. They all start wanting more and after you visit them for a lil bit and talk cash then the prices come down a lot! Last year I bought a 1874 Hartford sharps in 44-77 and from what he had on the gun to what I paid him in cash was just a little bit over 25% less the asking price Vegas is a great time.....
