Re: Man Cave construction is underway.
Nice start on your Mancave. If it was mine I would have made the entire area under the stairwell available for more/lager safes and made the opening the safe is in now a hinged swing out bookcase to disguise the opening. But then again I am not building it. Good luck on the project.

The 48" fluorescent lights are the ones that really bug me. The 8 footers are are designed completely different and take less than 10 seconds to replace. Commercial and consumer products are worlds apart, the commercial ones are expected to work.

If you are getting the Dixie reloadable shells just load them with black powder which is what the gun was made for and is available online right now.

I think people who complain about crescent buttstocks are being a little overdramatic. When these rifles were made the average man weighed about 130-150 lbs dripping wet if that. Nowadays, I have yet to see very many of the population over the age of 12 this weight, present poster included. If they ...

Don't move to Oregon, it will cost you as much or even more than California. Oregon used to be a nice little state 60 years ago but then we go invaded by almost 4 million people, mainly from California. There is probably only 1 in 20 native Oregonians over the age of 30.
