I have a M71 Winchester Deluxe. Made in 1946. The bluing has some wear but looks good. Everything is as should be with the exception of a Pachmayr recoil pad. What would be a fair asking price for this gun?

My cuz in Kentucky had a feist, a good one. This was 55 years ago. When we went squirrel huntin' we took his sister along.

She was so ugly she would scare the squirrels to death. We didn't have to shoot 'em.

I was going to buy a 20 ga. from a friend. That thing was so hard to break open, I could hardly do it without using my knee.

Is there a way to loosen one of these things up? I didn't buy it. I was wanting a 20 ga. O/U but not this one.

I preferr the 150 gr winchester hollow point. The 170 goes right thru the lungs and does not do enough damage for a quick kill.

Both of my sons and I used 30-30s for a long time.
