If it was a standard modern rifle it would be a Marlin guide gun in 45/70 with barrel sites and a see-thru weaver mount for a aim-point if I wanted it on, 20" barrel. Large loop lever, in case I was wearing gloves. If I could dream it would be a Win. 1886 in 50-110, set up the same. Either way ...

I have tried to name some, but it just doesn't come to me. Have one that has a name. It's a prairie dog, ground squirrel-varmint rifle name "Misty", for what it does to'em . Works good on yotes if'n ther close enuff.

Howdy, I know that there is a whole bunch of ways to skin a cat. Some more expensive that others. Back when I was competing High Power rifle approx. 600 cases a month plus the giggles shooting :lol: I finally purchased a 3 way cutter from RCBS. Didn't want to spent any more time trimming and deburri...

Like it has been stated, this has been talked about, a lot , and it is the way it is. Would say more but the dirt is already worn out.

I am with the guys that if the accuracy is there, I am not worried about the residue in the barrel. Been using 2400 in my 44 for years, a stout and tack driven power house load it is. If the next bullet always goes where the previous one did, I am okay with that.
