That's a fantastic story and one very worthy of the grand old .30 WCF. If I had a dollar for everything that's bitten the dust over the sights of a .30-30 I'd retire immediately.

15.. Swish a shot of vodka over an aching tooth. Allow your gums to absorb some of the alcohol to numb the pain. Or just drink it and you won't care about the pain...

How about Brad Johnson??? He never got enough credit for the work he as done, and as I understand it he's an accomplished gunsmith who does some really amazing things with an 86 Winchester (and others I'm sure)...

I have a 3-Screw .30 Carbine Blackhawk and LOVE it!!! I shoot cast lead RNFP at about 1000 fps for a plinking load and can get the Sierra 125 JHP for the .30-30 out at almost 1600 fps for a real flat-shooting blaster...
