My brother has been in the police force for about 2 or 3 years now. He has recently ask me to go on ride alongs with him. I ask him if I could carry since I have a CCW, he had to ask his chief, and the cheif said "no". So I don't go on ride alongs with him. He has yet to be in a shooting a...

A college degree does not make you any smarter, but it does open doors that are otherwise closed, sometimes even in the job you are in. That's the key to it all. Investigate around with some of the younger folks and find out what their making coming out of college. Then compare it to your pay + exp...

I'd go do it. In fact I'm pondering the same things myself. I'm 35, got an AS degree but fill the role of a BS degree w/o the pay. It's constantly brought up to me that I only have a AS degree, one reason I can't stand my job. But in order to shut them up, I'm contemplating going back & getting ...

FWIW, "Seperation of Church and State" is not in the Constitution. It was stated in a letter that Ben Franklin was writing to paper I believe. Correction: Thomas Jefferson wrote about a "wall of separation between church and state". Which holds to the First Amendment. U.S. Consti...
