When I first moved here nearly 50 years ago My neighbors on one side came from the mountains down there. moved here to get work and their House though small was immaculate and every blade of Grass cut in the yard. Church, Family, and work they never missed a Day. They set the standard for Neighbors.

I haven't for about three years since one neighbor went away and the house was boarded up. I have no idea how people in big cities could live in high crime areas. I still have an A-5 close at hand though.

Uberti has offered the '73 in .44 mag for a few years now. The statement to use only standard loads in the Colt must be a Lawyer driven thing because there is no readily available +p ammo on the market.

That's a Great snag! Looks Good to Me. I have a TC Renegade .50 cal that cost $141.00 in 1983. what Great, Accurate, fun these Rifles are with the set trigger . My Brother in Law has the .45 cal Hawken . He is near 80 and due to health issues no longer shoots but 40 years ago He was deadly with that...

About 2006 or 07 I did the same thing and wrung the .45 out with exactly the same results you achieved. I asked Paco a bunch of questions and I think He got pretty tired of hearing from a Guy from Ohio. :lol: .

Thats a Great picture Flint! Great Rifle. I'm not seeing many Fox Squirrels here anymore. There have been many reports of Fishers making a comeback in Ohio and sure enough my Neighbor saw one crossing our road last summer. I had to look them up on youtube and they are death on Squirrels.

When I had a constant threat nearby I carried at home and had three loaded shotguns in the house and one in the garage. now that He went "away" I have eased up a bit. dealing with someone on big drugs is a full time threat. Keith said "when You need a Gun You need it badly ".

Seems I read somewhere they were going to come out with one in .44 special - 44-40 dual cylinder. I don't mind the rough look of the gun as a working tool but I can't stand the way they mated the brass grip frame to the back of it above the Grips. UGH!
