What a shock! I hadn't heard that Union Station had broken up! I remember the first time I saw Allison K. Willie Nelson introduced her as his protege on Austin City Limits back in the early 80's a.i.r. I was struck dumb. I hadn't heard bluegrass since I was a little kid and thought it was long dead....

Re: Rossi 92 stock---will a Winchester stock fit?
Yes and no. I believe that a Win. M92 would make a satisfactory replacement, tho any replacement will probably need a small amount of in-letting. Your question is vague however and I must assume that you were asking about using a M94 stock, correct? Because I didn't want to cut the factory stock on ...

If you look at the fine print in the RCBS catalog you'll note that the Small base and ultra small base dies are made specifically to address the weak extraction problems exhibited by semi autos and Sav. M99 chambers.

Not knowing the history of it, has this Win. been "slicked up"? If so, you may have a weakened hammer spring giving inconsistent ignition.

All partitioned bullets are harder to "engrave" with rifling than standard jacketed bullets. WAEBE (with all else being equal) the partitioned bullets , regardless of brand, can be used with the same powders as stnd'd bullets but MUST be worked up to from starting loads.
