Re: 1894
I've got one with a 24" barrel and is extremely accurate, fun to shoot, and holds 13 rounds. This one also has an oversize chamber. The brass ejects fine but looks weird. I've reloaded the brass after resizing and it did fine. I've killed deer with this rifle but I prefer to hunt with a trapper...

Re: 357mag levergun vs 300 BLK AR15
The 300 Blackout was developed by Advanced Armaments Corporation specifically as a suppressed round to be fired in the AR platform. It actually is an answer to a problem that existed with close quarter battles where the AK47 round has superior knock down power over the 5.56 Nato round in short range...

Re: What's your .22LR trail gun?
I usually carry a S&W 317 Airlite like one of the other posters here. Great trail gun and more likely to carry because of it's light weight. I usually keep three rounds of shot shells in it. So far this summer it has dispatched two rattlers and one fox. I live and play in lion and bear country, ...

Re: .22 revolver, a good sidearm?
My favorite .22 handgun is a S&W 317. It weighs 11.9 oz, and with a little practice, is pretty accurate out to about 30 yds. Mine is the 3" barrel and is identical in size to my S&W model 60 in .357 mag. The 317 is a great practice gun and I carry it more than any handgun that I own. Th...

Re: Browning BL-22 vs. 9422
Thank all for the input. I appreciate the reference to the previous thread and sorry for being redundant. This is a tough choice, but since I like to buy new when I can, it will probably be the BL-22. I have read great things about the Henry and their customer service, so I will take another look at...

Browning BL-22 vs. 9422
Hi all, I have recently activated my membership to the forum, but have been staying up to date in the background. If this topic has been discussed in the past, please let me know. For years I wanted to buy a 9422 and never made the move. Now the prices have gone through the ceiling and I still can't...
