With the 92 frame in 45 colt you can use a gamer load to 50K load I run a 14K load and a 30K load all usable in my pistol too. If you get a 454 just down load it to 45 levels and tricking it out to shoot 45 and 454 might cost you some hide if it malfunctions dealing with a bear. danny

Get the 71 its is the better hunting rifle Ive found that the mdl 64 and 71 shoulder better for quick shots on game than any other rifles Ive tried there might be a third one a savage 99 something about the stock and pistol grip makes for a excellent hunting rifle. danny

Ok we werent talking about the same stove, I was thinking of this one a dual fuel wood or diesel, any regular type tent stove would work I wouldnt go below a 4" flue they are hard to clean. danny

MH nice rifles and cartridges, I would crimp your 300 savage case with a lee FCD by doing that with my 300 I cut my groups in half with jacketed and lead bullets I have run Beartooth 160 and 173 in my 300 but prefer the 160 as it is a short shank style and the GC is just below the neck. danny

Nice snag a 250 and 300 covers anything you need to hunt in NA, the 1-14 twist will stabilize the 100s , 150s in the 300 can run to 2700+. In a pistol a HC WFN, stable out to 100 yds ,if further run a LFN. I run a 45 255 WFN at 1000 fps, use to run them at 900 but AA brought out new data for 5744 that still keeps them at 14K psi. The difference in a HC wfn compared to a jacketed HP or SP it out performs and penetrates. danny

You have to be careful with distillers grain and cattle the fermenting of the grain raises hob with their gut some is fine too much isnt. marbling is what flavors beef and barley gives fat a different flavor than the other grains, some like the taste most dont. danny
