Yes the butt on the Henry has been cut down makes a faster shooter for quick shots .... and of coarse I had ordered another butt stock before cutting it to insure a match..

I also have a Puma .44 mag that has a very smooth lever action , added a Skinner Barrel Mounted Adjustable Peep Sight great light weight rifle.

I had times when I could not walk ( I eat a lot of meat ) my massage therapist recommended black cherry concentrate, 1 oz. ever night . I haven't had a problem for a year so far.You might need more or it may take a few weeks to work .Good luck.

I have a Win 94ae and it takes a hard pull on the lever to rack a round.My Puma .44mag can rack a round with one finger easy on the lever.
Question.. is the Mossberg 30-30 more like the Win or Puma? Thanks

Hi I bought a Puma .44mag on sale at Big 5 and it is smooth as silk to lever great shooting rifle with a side scope mount.With the .44mag rds I pressed in the rims for fast shooting.
