19s are my favorite. I’m sure you know, but remember not to load full house loads with bullet weights under ~158 grains. That flat in the breech end of the barrel cut for the crane has been shown to crack with full house 125s.

Yes. I would love to have a 308 barrel for my 358 td. Alas I cannot make heads or tails of a blueprint. Fancy crown molding and I’m your guy. As a machinist I am ignorant.

Re: BLR takedown barrel swap solution?

I bought a BLR last year, and got the idea that if I could have interchangeable barrels it would make a good gun even better... Being that the barrel comes off, why not? It would be like a Remington 870 that someone could morph to suit various applications, by changing the chambering. I know I'm no...

I do what JimT does. Actually I think I learned from him. I use the case mouth inside chamfer tool to sharpen the 357 case. I came into a large amount of 38 wad cutters that shoot quite well in my Rossi.

It would be the first successful vaccine ever for an RNA virus. Others have failed spectacularly. The most promising one for SARS-CoV-1 caused those who had the vaccine to die at alarming rates when exposed to the virus. I think it was an ARDS response.

Tycer, When I first researched high power loads for my 1886 45-90, I learned that RL7 is often used for heavy loads for cartridges such as 45-70, 45-90, .458 win mag, and .405 WCF. 2230 was also up near the top as were a few other common powders. I suspect there are a few new contenders for that cr...

Still working on that 86 Extra Light with the new Providence sight. Meant to take the box of 13 gr Unique loads. Oops. Took the 450 grain @ 1675 fps. Pelosi. I also had a few 330 Gould’s over 54 gr 3031 @~1800. That’s a bit zippy too in a 7# gun. The 330s hit about a foot higher than the 450s. Inter...
