Re: Shooting gloves - lever bites!
Not sure on gloves, I wrap my levers with leather, as I don’t like gloves while shooting my rifles. I do wear gloves when I go to the range a shoot a lot of pistol rounds, they are fingerless though. Blackhawk, 511, Bob Allen and others all make pretty good gloves…..but what I like may not be what y...

I’ll have to second, third….and fourth the idea of carrying what your comfortable with and shoot well! If it’s not comfortable you won’t carry it….if you can’t shoot it well….you may not hit where you want! That leads to my next part…..over penetration is bad…..if you shoot a threat and the bullet p...

I shoot, almost exclusively, cast bullets in my leverguns and revolvers, plated or factory HB in my auto pistols….although I’m leaning to coated lead in my 10mm and 50 GI. I live somewhat remote and always have lead and molds on hand…..shipping makes commercial stuff quite expensive. I lean to heavy...

Yeah I’m looking to add the peep sight from Steve’s guns and wondering if I can go with something shorter than the factory brush hook on the front. Brush here is fraught with thorny vines…no leaves right now so I’m not sure what it is….but it tears you open pretty good and catches on everything!
