There's also a rumor on a couple of forums that some older BLR's had plastic gears in them and would strip. The newer ones definitely have metal gears as I called the Browning factory and confirmed. The same crowd that routinely bashes the BLR also bashes the A-Bolt, and that group always hunts in A...

If you don't like the gloss epoxy finish, you can hand-rub it out to a satin sheen really easy using 0000 steel wool and along with a bit of oil. Nothing to it! IMO opinion, which may not apply here, is that why should someone expect a dealer who owns a storefront operation and pays all the associated fees, insurance, state, local property and income taxes, etc., and not see any profit from a new firearm that he could order. I do not charge established customers for a transfer. I charge $25 for a transfer to a customer I've never met before. I use the Wolf SRM primers exclusively in my .223 Service Rifle loads. The magnums aren't really "magnums" in the sense that we're used too (i.e hotter flame, etc.), but simply have a harder cup - perfect for the AR15 with its floating firing pin. The .223 primers are magnum primers.
