I am playing around with the .308 Marlin Express, and it is a good round. I am dying to get my hands on the .338. I love the Winchester model 71, and I think the Marlin 338 might be close to as great a gun as the 71.

Re: MOSSBERG'S 464 REINCARNATION OF THE 94
Really with the new Hornady ammo any caliber could be possible within the action limitations. I remember that the leader in the poll was .41 magnum, but I didn't follow it all the way to the end. I think that 7-30, 218Bee, and .35 would be great.

It has been dianosed by a doctor. You can have pockets of uric acid crystals that form knots, and it can hit in any joint. It's not A -typical, but it is gout.

Man there ain't nothing that hurts as bad as gout. I have it in my feet, and it can really make a grown man cry. My brother has it worse it is in his hands, and legs. He has knots forming from it. Nasty stuff. Naproxen is what I have to take for it.

I still think that this gun can be produced as a strong viable gun. A company that would put the quality, and time into this design it would be a gun to rely on in the field. Re: 357 and 44 LeverEvolution ammo- better or not?
I have the article on-line at my site. I like it, but I still think that the tip is going to keep it from penetrating at close range. At 75 to 100 yards it may get better. It is accurate in fact it is the only low grain bullet ammo that my trapper shoots good. I still like my partitions, and hard ca...

I read the article today, and the writer gave it a good review, so I went out today, and shot some more with this ammo. As far accuracy goes this stuff is good, I shot my 94 trapper .357 magnum, with a good rest put three almost through the same hole. If it penetrats good on an animal this is pretty...

Well it seems I angered a few with my comment. I am sorry, but I stand by what I said that 400 yard shot with a .30-30 is a foolish shot. After 300 yards a .30-30 is going to be loosing steam, and is not 100% at taking an animal. Now with the new leverevolution rounds I would take a shot at 200 yard...

It depends on the bullet design. A Winchester 150 grain Power Point will open, and stop easier than say a 170 grain Nolser Partition. I use a great deal of the 150 grain power points, but I work my loads to the job at hand. They are cheap in bulk, and work good. The three absolute best I like are No...
