I have read on line these actions will handle the level 3 45-70 loads, that are for Siamese Mauser and RUGER # 1 AND 3 .
I have read they are rated to 65000 psi.
Having fired both the Rugers with extremely heavy loads, they are not fun, can you say they bite on both ends.

You apparently have not found the right combo for your rifles. My Marlins have always been accurate at 100 yards.
Not tack drivers, but can keep all 7 rounds from a 30-30 inside a plate sized target, and the same with 45-70

I load a lot of revolver cartridges and have been told I need a taper crimp die for all automatic cartridges. I bought one that taper crimps the
380, 9mm, 38auto and 38 super.

I am blessed to have both a Henry 45-70 22 inch octagon barrel with the loading gate, and a 20 inch stainless 454 Rossi R 92. For ease of handling I think I would go with the Rossi, 454, but for sheer power the 45-70 with some of GARRETTS heavy loads. I do reload, but think his bullets are superb

with morse code I have talked to GERMANS, JAPANESE, RUSSIANS, FRENCH, BRITISH, and almost any and all nationalities .

I used to work behind the counter of a sporting good store, and always recommended revolvers for ladies not real familiar with guns. I still do. No slide to mess with, no safety to think about , just point and shoot, as long is a double action revolver. A lot of ladies have problem working slides.

I do reload, and have fired both my reloads and factory loads but all in 45 colt, and not 454 loads, but I also keep my reloads to factory length .
