Re: PSE Coyote recurve bow

You gonna hunt with this bow, or just punch targets? The learning curve is much greater in your favor if you get a light (30-35#) to learn with. If you start out with a 55# bow you will learn many bad habits. Not comming to full draw. Pulling as fast as you can and trying to get the shot off withou...

Re: OT- Archery Questions.

I may be a little late to the party, but I have some suggestions based on my experience. I first got involved in the sport of archery in around 1960 or so. My first experience was with olympic style recurve, which I still shoot. But my main interest was, and still is Field Archery. My advice to you,...

Re: any body like tennessee

I don't live in Tennessee, yet, but I certainly like it, especially Eastern Tennessee. Pokynojoe, a member here, moved from western New York to Eastern Tennessee some years ago. I'm sure he'd be able to answer lots of questions for you. IMO, Tennessee would be a good choice. So this is where you ar...

Re: OT: Dern that Kid Cossack's Liver & lights!

HEY DOC! I ate at the 'Ole Mill in the "Forge" last weekend after hiking around and viewing the colors. Got me thinking about you and the missus. Wondered what you'ins been up to? Did the Missus finish her PH.D in "Dogtown"? How about your culinary career? Still on track? My Pop ...

Lots of good responses. I would humbly suggest that you pick up a copy of John Barseness "Optics for the Hunter". Very good treatise on the pros and cons of 30mm vs. 1" scope tubes.

Good luck in your choice

She's been trying to run me off for about 30 years and hasn't succeeded yet. Ya never know though.

On a more serious note, that's a pretty neat fix, to a tedious task.

Best regards

I found a simple, cheap, and easy solution to this problem years ago:

I have the wife do it. All she has to do all day is work a 12 hour a day job, cook and clean. She's got plenty of time for all those mindless reloading chores. Besides, she's glad to do it for me anyway.

If your unfamiliar with optics you might want to see if your local library has a copy of "Optics for the Hunter" by John Barsness. A very good primer, and well worth the cost if you're required to purchase it.

Not sure, but if you're looking for a shooting sling for that bolt rifle, take a look at Murray Custom Leather A-1 Quick Set.

As the spouse of an attorney, I'm amazed he has as much time to accomplish as much as he does. Good luck Scott, it seems your always leaving just as I arrive :(
